SB100 Pro

The SB100 Pro from GPASEABOTS is an Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) for conducting inspections and bathymetric surveys in shallow inshore waters.

It runs bathymetric surveys in areas where access for a traditional survey vessel is not possible. This modular USV can be completely customized to client requirements and is ideal for operation in quarry lakes, harbors, rivers, lakes, lagoons, mining ponds and other shallow water zones.

It can be operated by remote-control or as an autonomous vessel for ultimate line running and survey efficiency.

Convenient Size, Excellent Capability

The SB100 Pro is a small to mid-sized unmanned survey boat which features an excellent blend of portability and capability. It features an 3 hour endurance, can carry multiple payloads simultaneously including single and multibeam sonar, sidescan sonar with GNSS/RTK positioning, all in a size which can easily fit in the bed of a pickup, in the trunks of some cars and can be carried by a single person.

The SB100 Pro can be equipped with a range of survey grade payloads (see below) and features a full autopilot making data collection exponentially easier than ever.

SB100 Pro is a tele-operated catamaran type vehicle, to be used as a multipurpose unmanned support for marine investigation. The system allows, with its open architecture and "PC to PC" broadband communications to easily integrate any type of sensor controlled by PC. The pilot station on the ground allows the visualization and real-time control of all software features of the onboard sensor.

SB100 Pro is a lightweight vehicle (18 kg – 40 lbs, without payload) with a compact design (100 cm x 72 cm x 47 cm).

SB100 Pro is powered by two electrical engines (2x 350W-4,5 Kgf) running on batteries with an overall autonomy of 3 hours and a maximum speed of 5 knots in optimal conditions. The catamaran can carry a payload of 12 kg (26 lbs).

MAIN FEATURES

Autopilot

Based on a highly sensitive IMU triple redundancy system and incorporating a high precision positioning system GNSS/RTK, we are capable to automate operations with great reliability, despite any external factors as wind or tide.

Surface Camera

The SB100 SUV is equipped with a FHD front camera, it´s a POV camera (point of view) which allows to operate the SUV in confined spaces and navigate the boat even when it is far away and out of your visual range. This image is displayed in real time on the control panel and can be registered for subsequent inspections.

Control Station

USV navigation control and instruments, are operated from the hand controller and the base station. The controller kit and base station monitors all telemetry details, sound and video on real time. it has a range of up to 2 km in optimal conditions.

Payload Options

SB100 Pro can be equipped with all kinds of instrumentation, it is a 100% customizable platform. Easy integration of all types of instrumentation. Real time display and remote configuration. The catamaran can carry a payload of 12 kg (26 lbs).

Underwater Camera: In order to carry out shallow visual inspections, a FHD underwater camera can be incorporated, with image enhancement technology that makes it possible to clarify and see better in water in real time.

Thermal Camera: Ideal for environments with very low visibility, even in the absence of light. It allows us to identify objects according to their temperature, such as moving boats or people.

Singlebeam Echosounder: High performance echo sounder that allows georeferenced depth to be measured with an integrated GNSS/RTK system. A georeferenced image similar to that of a high resolution ultrasound is obtained. With the included software, maps can be made very easily. The singlebeam echosounder gives us depth information as well as the water and bottom column. Easy to use and setup is ideal for simple bathymetric surveys, some of the applications are: navigation altitude measurement, sediment movement monitoring, bridge undercut monitoring, port security, wave & tide monitoring 

Sidescan Sonar: Integrated into the hull itself, it generates spectacular geo-referenced images of the seabed that allow us to understand the texture and objects found in it, some of the applications are: search & sescue (SAR), identification of submerged evidence of a crime scene, search for mines and other explosives, port inspection, wreck location, archeological site inspections, inspection of coastal structures, dredging operations, location of pipes, cables, etc.

Multibeam Echosounder: The multibeam system allows bathymetric surveys with much more information in less time. Our SB100 Pro is the most compact USV system in the world to integrate this technology, some of the applications are: bathymetries, building, dredging, hydrography. 

Multiparameter Sensor: It allows obtaining more than 20 parameters of water quality and composition in georeferenced form and in real time.

Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCP): The current profiler is an ideal instrument for hydrography that allows us to measure the speed of water at different depths of the column.

Underground Profiler: It is an echosounder that emits at a very low frequency, which is capable of penetrating the seabed and obtaining a clear image of the seabed.

CARTOGRAPHY AND BATHYMETRIC SURVEYS

INSPECTION WORKS

Sometimes, accessing to visualize certain areas carries an unnecessary risk. For this, the use of compact USVs such as the SB100 Pro allows us to take photographs and video on the surface or in the water.
Other elements such as thermal cameras or thickness meters can be easily integrated, obtaining all the information in real time from the ground.

ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES

Get to know the aquatic environment instantly, or with the passage of time thanks to the management of routes and sampling points with great precision.
From characterization of the bottom, study of currents in the water column, sampling and parameterization of oceanic variables.

SEARCH AND RESCUE (SAR)

In emergency situations, rapidity in the deployment of media is vital. With the size of the SB100 Pro we can access enclaves of difficult access even on foot.
You can program an autopilot that covers an entire area on a map, that way we make sure that we don't miss any space to explore. All information can be viewed remotely from the ground. The operating team can make the necessary decisions in real time.

ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION

Obtaining all the information of the environment before starting any project allows to optimize the planning and execution of the works.
The versatility of the SB100 Pro allows to obtain a multitude of data quickly and accurately at a lower cost than with traditional methods.

ARCHEOLOGY

The exploration of the seabed in search of possible archaeological remains has always been a tedious and expensive task.
With the automatic search system, we can cover large extensions without paying attention to navigation. All probe data is displayed on the ground control station.

AQUACULTURE & FISHING

Controlling the habitat of the farms is essential to obtain healthy specimens. With the SB100 Pro we can access the control points referenced from a dock or boat and take samples of the necessary parameters. At the same time, the integrated cameras will often avoid the need for diving equipment.

ADVERTISING AND SPORTS EVENTS

Unlike aerial drones, USVs allow greater autonomy, as well as obtain underwater images. This makes it ideal to cover events that take place in the aquatic environment without high costs or associated hazards.
You can install all types of cameras with their respective stabilizers and transmit that image in real time.

GPASEABOTS warrants that at the time of shipment all products shall be free from defects in material and workmanship and suitable for the purpose specified in the product literature. Customer acceptance will always be deemed to have occurred within 72 hours of delivery. GPASEABOTS provides a limited warranty to the original purchaser against all defects in original workmanship and material under normal commercial use and service as outlined in the owner's manual for 1 year from the date of purchase, with the following exceptions and conditions:

  • GPASEABOTS must be notified immediately (in writing) of any suspected defect and if advised by GPASEABOTS, the equipment subject to the defect shall be returned by the customer to GPASEABOTS, via a suitable mode of transportation and shall be freight paid.
  • Should your equipment prove to be defective for any reason (other than those listed in the limitations below) it will be repaired or replaced at GPASEABOTS´s discretion, free of charge, excluding shipping and handling charges.
  • All correspondence concerning this warranty must be accompanied by a copy of the original sales receipt.
  • This warranty does not cover rental use.
  • Repairs made under this warranty will not extend the warranty period
  • This warranty is non-transferable and applies to the original purchaser only.
  • Any flood or damage, for any reason, that is caused from flooding an O-ring sealed or water tight area will not be covered under warranty. All O-ring sealed products undergo extensive factory pressure testing before being shipped and delivered and are therefore guaranteed to be sealed and functioning when shipped from the factory.
  • GPASEABOTS nor ADITECH will not be liable for any loss, damages, or expenses including incidental or consequential damages directly or indirectly arising from the sale or use of the product.
  • GPASEABOTS nor ADITECH accepts no liability for any loss of captured images or the inability to capture images even if it is due to the malfunctioning or leakage of the housing.
  • All paint finishing, cosmetic discoloration of surfaces, powder coating, or material stitching that is chipped, damaged, or unthreaded through customer use is not covered in the warranty.
  • GPASEABOTS does not warranty any product for aesthetic finishes. Issues with surface finish that do not affect function of the product are not covered under warranty.
  • This warranty does not apply and may be rendered completely void in the event of accidental damage, abuse, overcharging of battery, flooding due to neglect, tampering, lack of care and maintenance, improper storage, or unauthorized service.
  • This warranty does not apply and may be rendered completely void if the equipment has not been installed and commissioned in strict accordance with approved technical standards and specifications and for the purpose that the system was designed.
  • The warranty does not apply to faults that have been caused by failure to follow the recommended installation or maintenance procedures. Or faults resulting from normal wear & tear, incorrect operation, fire, water ingress, lightning damage or fluctuations in vehicles supply voltages, or from any other circumstances that may arise after delivery that is outwith the control of Subsea-Tech. (Note: The warranty does not apply in the event where a defect has been caused by isolation incompatibilities.)
  • This warranty specifically excludes propellers, tether, domes, cords, connectors, O-rings, joystick or other conditions resulting from misuse and negligence.
  • The warranty does not cover the transportation of personnel and per diem allowances relating to any repair or replacement.
  • Modifications or repair by anyone other than an authorized GPASEABOTS dealer or ADITECH Service Department will void the warranty.
  • Each product is carefully examined and checked before it is shipped. It should therefore be visually and operationally checked as soon as it is received. If it is damaged in anyway, a claim should be filed with the courier and GPASEABOTS notified of the damage.
  • If the equipment is not covered by warranty, or if it is determined that the fault is caused by misuse, repair will be billed to the customer, and an estimate submitted for customer approval before the commencement of repairs
  • By purchasing this product you agree and understand that in no event will GPASEABOTS, its distributors or retailers, be held liable for any personal injuries resulting from its operation, or any other damage whether direct, indirect, incidental or consequential, even if GPASEABOTS or ADITECH is advised of such damages.
  • The warranty does not cover any direct, indirect, punitive, special consequential damages or any damages whatsoever arising out of or connected with misuse of this product
