Zen DP-230 Fisheye Dome Port

Full frame shooters rejoice! In keeping with the Zen Underwater tradition of excellence, we are proud to offer our flagship dome port. With the DP-230 port you will finally have a port that will do justice to your expensive rectilinear wide angle lenses like the Canon 16-35mm f/2.8 L, Canon 16-35mm f/2.8 L2, Canon 17-40mm f/4 L, Nikon 16-35 f/4 VR, and the Nikon 17-35mm f/2.8.

The DP-230-N120-1124 has a larger inner diameter than the original DP-230-N120 to accommodate large diameter lenses like the Canon EF 11-24mm f/4 USM Lens. It comes with a user uninstallable locking plate for Nauticam extension rings still using the stainless steel locking pin.

The Zen Underwater 230mm (9 Inch) Glass Fisheye Dome Port for Ikelite requires Ikelite Modular Port Bases for Mounting. The Zen Underwater Large Diameter Port Body for Ikelite is required when using the Canon 16-35mm f/2.8 L2 due to the large outside diameter of this lens.

BK7 Optical Glass Dome

Like all Zen Underwater ports, the DP-230 is hand crafted from the finest materials and represents the state-of-the-art design and optical technology. Like out highly acclaimed DP-200, it begins with a BK7 glass dome. This yields outstanding optical performance, easily equivalent to or surpassing any other dome currently available at any price.

The interior of the dome element is coated with a magnesium fluoride broadband anti-reflective coating to minimize internal reflections from camera lenses, lettering on cameras, etc. which can be a problem in a bright ambient light situation.

The exterior is treated with a proprietary scratch resistant coating to control lens flare. This coating yields an amazing 99.7%+ transmissive value for true distortion free images.
