MDXL-α7IV Housing for Sony α7RIV

Features
- Equipped with new silicone handle inserts for firm and steady grip as standard. Silicone compound material implanted in the grip providing firm hold.
- SA8 Fixed Ball Bases now comes standard with MDX-L series housings
- Leak Sentinel XB, which measures atmospheric pressure inside the housing even on land, is now an optional accessory together with the conventional built-in Leak Sensor. Two alert sensors are available for your peace of mind.
- For better noticeability, controls are partially colored with yellow.
- Compatible with the Sea&Sea, “Manual Flash Trigger/S” (optional).
- The camera can be mounted in the housing with its LCD monitor extended from the camera to reduce the distance between the rear window and monitor to increase visibility.
Compatible with Optical YS Converter S1
Compatible with SEA&SEA “Optical YS Converter S1” which converts the strobe light emission signal of the camera to LED light and synchronizes with the SEA&SEA YS strobe. It is a high-performance converter that does not just emit simple light-emitting signals, but also performs TTL auto light control.
* Sony original adapter “ADP-MAA” is required separately for connecting camera and optical YS converter.
Buoyancy Pocket
With Buoyancy Pocket *1, underwater weight has lessened by 240g/8.5oz *2. The pocket can be used as space for extra battery pack *3.

The camera can be removed from the housing easily even if a lens with large diameter such as the SEL1635GM is mounted on the camera without removing port from the housing enabling you to replace battery and lens with ease.
Other Features
- The Port Lock prevents the port from turning or loosening and the Port Lock lever is specifically located to avoid being unlocked accidentally.
- The housing is equipped with a lens-lock release button which makes it possible to change lenses easily, without opening the housing.
- Pulling out the Focus/Zoom Dial gives enough room inside the housing to easily accommodate larger diameter lenses.
- The camera’s diopter adjustment dial can be operated from outside the housing. This feature is useful when two or more people with different eyesight use the housing.
- All controls have luminescence stickers which glow in dark environment.
- Equipped with the Optical Viewfinder 0.5x as standard. Other optional viewfinders such as the VF180 1.2x, VF45 1.2x and Optical Viewfinder 0.66x, 0.8x can be used. Some vignetting occurs. When the VF180 1.2x is mounted on housing, the upper part of the camera's viewfinder cannot be viewed due to vignetting.
- Sync Cord 2-pin Connector enables use of conventional hardwired Sync cable (Manual mode only).
- Equipped with two sacrificial zinc diodes (one on the front case and the other on the rear) to prevent electrolysis damage.
- Built-in leak sensor immediately alerts you to water ingress.
- Tripod screw mount is located on the center underside of the housing.
- Equipped with under guard to protect from scratch.

Warranty
Sea&Sea provides a limited warranty to
the original purchaser against all defects in original workmanship and
material under normal SCUBA use and service as outlined in the owner's
manual for 1 year from the date of purchase, with the following exceptions:

Should your equipment prove to be
defective for any reason (other than those listed in the limitations
section below) it will be repaired or replaced at Sea&Sea´s discretion, free of charge, excluding shipping and
handling charges.

Repairs made under this warranty will not extend the warranty period

This warranty is non-transferable and applies to the original purchaser only.

All correspondence concerning this warranty must be accompanied by a copy of the original sales receipt.

Any flood or damage, for any reason,
that is caused from flooding an O-ring sealed or water tight area will
not be covered under warranty. All O-ring sealed products undergo
extensive factory pressure testing before being shipped and delivered
and are therefore guaranteed to be sealed and functioning when shipped
from the factory.

Sea&Sea nor ADITECH will not be liable for any
loss, damages, or expenses including incidental or consequential damages
directly or indirectly arising from the sale or use of the product.

Sea&Sea accepts no liability for any loss of captured images or the
inability to capture images even if it is due to the malfunctioning or
leakage of the housing.

All paint finishing, cosmetic
discoloration of surfaces, powder coating, or material stitching that is
chipped, damaged, or unthreaded through customer use is not covered in
the warranty.

Sea&Sea does not warranty any product
for aesthetic finishes. Issues with surface finish that do not affect
function of the product are not covered under warranty.

This warranty does not apply and may
be rendered completely void in the event of accidental damage, abuse, batteries´ electrolyte spillage,
overcharging of battery, flooding due to neglect, tampering, lack of
care and maintenance, improper storage, or unauthorized service.

This warranty specifically excludes lenses, cords, connectors, O-rings, or other conditions
resulting from misuse and negligence.

This warranty becomes void if the housing components are damaged by anything other than normal recreational diving use.

Modifications or repair by anyone other than an
authorized Sea&Sea Dealer or ADITECH Service Department will void
the warranty.

By purchasing this product you agree
and understand that in no event will Sea&Sea, its distributors or
retailers, be held liable for any personal injuries resulting from its
operation, or any other damage whether direct, indirect, incidental or
consequential, even if Sea&Sea or ADITECH is advised of such damages.
