PRODUCT DETAILS

The ultra-compact SL-19 is designed to be used as backup or primary video lighting for any underwater video, digital still or digital SLR system.
The SL-19 is equipped with a module consisting of a COB LED of 16mm white light (2000/600 lumen), 2 LEDS of red light, 2 LEDs of UV light
The red light is used not to scare underwater life and to get close to it.
Blue light is used to obtain fluorescence from underwater life.
A perfectly diffused 100 degree beam underwater provides even coverage from macro to wide angle.
Near daylight 6500º Kelvin colour temperature ensures the most true, natural tones especially when combined with ambient light in seascapes.
The light head's powerful 2000 lumen beam (Turbo mode) may be reduced to 600 lumen to fine-tune exposure and extend battery life.
The SL-19 has a built-in a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery pack of 8.14 Wh
The charging time is 2.5 hrs to reach 80% capacity
We have built in two mechanical push buttons switchs to turn the light on-off, and cycle through the modes, the S1 button allows to turn on the white video light in Turbo mode (2000 lumen), low power mode (600 lumen), and SOS mode (700 lumen), the S2 button allows to turn on the red light or blue light (UV).
The heavy-duty and reliable mechanical switch is within easy reach and features click-stops to indicate power setting by feel.
The SL-19 has been designed and manufactured using high quality components to withstand harsh environments.
The light has a threaded hole NC1/4 on the bottom that allows the assembly of various fixing accessories, such as the 25mm ball-type coupling and the cold-shoe adaptor, both included with the SL-19.
An optional YS mount can also be mounted as well as a carry handle
Using a single battery lithium pack creates a very compact light weight package.
A dome diffuser is provided which allows to increase the beam angle up to 180º
We have also included a Snoot with two segments, with an output diameter of 8mm and 3mm, it allows to drastically reduce the beam anglet, ideal for artistic photos in macro mode.
The maximum depth rating is 60 meters.
The LEDs do not have filaments or other parts subject to breakage or failure due to "melting", their degradation is gradual throughout their life.
The main advantage of the SL-19 video light is its size, ideal for the current weight and size restrictions on flights

Warranty

Meikon provides a limited warranty to the original purchaser against all defects in original workmanship and material under normal SCUBA use and service as outlined in the owner's manual for 1 year from the date of purchase, with the following exceptions and conditions:

This warranty does not cover commercial or rental use.
Should your housing prove to be defective for any reason (other than those listed in the limitations section below) it will be repaired or replaced at Advanced Diving Technologies´ discretion, free of charge, excluding shipping and handling charges.
Repairs made under this warranty will not extend the warranty period
This warranty is non-transferable and applies to the original purchaser only.
All correspondence concerning this warranty must be accompanied by a copy of the original sales receipt.
Any flood or damage, for any reason, that is caused from flooding an O-ring sealed or water tight area will not be covered under warranty. All O-ring sealed products undergo extensive factory pressure testing before being shipped and delivered and are therefore guaranteed to be sealed and functioning when shipped from the factory.
Meikon/ADITECH will not be liable for any loss, damages, or expenses including incidental or consequential damages directly or indirectly arising from the sale or use of the product.
Meikon/ADITECH accepts no liability for any loss of captured images or the inability to capture images even if it is due to the malfunctioning or leakage of the housing.
All paint finishing, cosmetic discoloration of surfaces, powder coating, or material stitching that is chipped, damaged, or unthreaded through customer use is not covered in the warranty.
Meikon/ADITECH does not warranty any product for aesthetic finishes. Issues with surface finish that do not affect function of the product are not covered under warranty.
This warranty does not apply and may be rendered completely void in the event of accidental damage, abuse, overcharging of battery, flooding due to neglect, tampering, lack of care and maintenance, improper storage, or unauthorized service.
This warranty specifically excludes bulbs, lenses, cords, wet connectors, O-rings, fuses or other conditions resulting from misuse and negligence.
This warranty becomes void if the Video Housing components are damaged by anything other than normal recreational diving use.
Modifications or repair by anyone other than an authorized Meikon Dealer or ADITECH Service Department will void the warranty.
Each product is carefully examined and checked before it is shipped. It should therefore be visually and operationally checked as soon as it is received. If it is damaged in anyway, a claim should be filed with the courier and ADITECH notified of the damage.
By purchasing this product you agree and understand that in no event will Meikon/ADITECH, its distributors or retailers, be held liable for any personal injuries resulting from its operation, or any other damage whether direct, indirect, incidental or consequential, even if ADITECH is advised of such damages.

NOTE: If the equipment is not covered by warranty, or if it is determined that the fault is caused by misuse, repair will be billed to the customer, and an estimate submitted for customer approval before the commencement of repairs
