GLADIUS MINI is the second generation of Chasing-Innovation underwater drones, which brings together a full range of technological evolution, as well as a deep understanding of underwater photography stabilization and underwater inspection.
The GLADIUS is a micro-ROV sized vehicle that has all main features
inherited from larger underwater systems. It has embedded batteries allowing for autonomy of 1-2 hours.
It´s an entry level ROV for users who require very basic underwater camera functionality on a limited budget. It has a very small size, thin umbilical cable and very high manoeuvring
capability which allows operating in hard-to-reach places including
inside sunken wrecks.
The GLADIUS is a professional underwater robot which can dive to the depth
of 100 meters underwater to complete a variety of photographic and
video graphic tasks. It is an efficient tool for diving,
fishing, boating, yachting, sailing, and other ocean activities; the GLADIUS can also be used as professional detection equipment for
aquaculture industry, infrastructure inspection and other underwater
observation tasks.
Many of the tasks assigned to work class ROVs – or human divers – is shallow (less than 300m) and involves searching, inspecting, or surveying underwater. These tasks are ideally suited to GLADIUS mini ROV technology. Smaller, lighter, ROVs that consume very little power can be deployed from many different areas or rigs and ships. Since they have very little mass, they can be safely used on comparatively delicate machinery without fear of damage.
Launching simply involves heaving the submersible by hand into the water. They can be deployed in sea states that would be too dangerous for larger machines. Their thrust to weight ratio for a small tether means that mini ROVs can be handle more current than most work class ROVs in shallow waters.
GLADIUS is one of the smallest ROV in the market, with dimension about 385x226x138mm.

New Five Thrusters' Layout + AI Intelligent Control Algorithm
The vertical propellers are layouted as a triangle, which is combined with AI intelligent control algorithm to ensure the stability of the ROV in both vertical and horizontal directions under water.
The rear two propellers output a maximum speed of 2m/s and flow resistance.
The ROV's pitching angle can be adjusted by ±45°, and can go forward /backward or floating/diving in Tilt-Lock Mode, expanding the scope of the photography.
GLADIUS warrants that at the time of shipment all
products shall be free from defects in material and workmanship and suitable
for the purpose specified in the product literature. Customer
acceptance will always be deemed to have occurred within 72 hours of delivery. GLADIUS provides a limited warranty to
the original purchaser against all defects in original workmanship and
material under normal commercial use and service as outlined in the owner's
manual for 2 years from the date of purchase, with the following exceptions and conditions:
