Sea&Sea housing MDX-D850 (#06187) for Nikon D850. The
underwater weight has improved due to a more precise machining method.
The housing is made from carefully selected
aircraft grade aluminum alloy and premium grade stainless steel. It is
machined on the latest 5 axis computer assisted machines available, and
is protected by anodizing it.
While anodizing will protect the housing from the environment, it will
fade and discolor if left exposed to the elements, and so for further
protection.
Precise shaping is achieved
through laser cutting tools, all controls shafts are double O-ring
sealed, all push buttonshave Quad-ring seals, and every shaft and push
button are manufactured to a mirror smooth surface that meets strictest
standards. All of this is done to achieve the standard 330ft/100 meter.

Much lighter than previous housings.
Using unprecedented precision machining, the dimensions of the
housing are similar to those of the camera. In addition, the revised
internal design has also helped reduce weight. The MDX-D850 is
approximately 11% (350g/12.3oz) lighter than the previous MDX-D810
housing.
Various controls can be operated whilst holding the grips.
Frequently used Main and Sub-Command dials are now located directly
on the right side of the housing. ISO, REC and other camera functions
can be operated by external levers whilst holding the grips. With the AF
lock function, you can fix the focus point as required.

even if gears or other parts wear out to some extent.
Optical YS Converter/N1 can be built into the housing
Optical YS Converter/N1 can be built into the housing. Compatible with Optical YS Converter/N1 for MDX housing which converts
the camera’s hot-shoe TTL signal to a light signal. Both TTL and manual
strobe modes can be used and controlled from the housing using a
Fiber-Optic Cable II.

The Port Lock prevents the port from turning or loosening and the Port
Lock lever is specifically located to avoid being unlocked accidentally.
The housing is equipped with a lens-lock release button which makes it
possible to change lenses easily, without opening the housing.

The camera’s diopter adjustment dial can be operated from outside
the housing. This feature is useful when two or more people with
different eyesight use the housing.

Pulling out the Focus/Zoom Dial gives sufficient room inside the housing to easily accommodate larger diameter lenses.

All controls have luminescence stickers which glow in dark environment.

Equipped with the Optical Viewfinder 0.5x as standard. Other
optional viewfinders such as the VF180 1.2x, VF45 1.2x and Optical
Viewfinder 0.8x can be used.

Sync Cord 2-pin Connector enables use of conventional hardwired Sync cable (Manual mode only).
Accessory port enables use of Leak Sentinel (vacuum sensor).

Relevant Information
*1 The housing is not equipped with any strobe connector when shipped
from the factory. Use Fiber-Optic Cable(s) when connecting external
strobe(s). Optional Sync Cord 2-pin Connector is required if you wish to use a conventional sync cable.
Warranty
Sea&Sea provides a limited warranty to
the original purchaser against all defects in original workmanship and
material under normal SCUBA use and service as outlined in the owner's
manual for 1 year from the date of purchase, with the following exceptions:

Should your equipment prove to be
defective for any reason (other than those listed in the limitations
section below) it will be repaired or replaced at Sea&Sea´s discretion, free of charge, excluding shipping and
handling charges.

Repairs made under this warranty will not extend the warranty period

This warranty is non-transferable and applies to the original purchaser only.

All correspondence concerning this warranty must be accompanied by a copy of the original sales receipt.

Any flood or damage, for any reason,
that is caused from flooding an O-ring sealed or water tight area will
not be covered under warranty. All O-ring sealed products undergo
extensive factory pressure testing before being shipped and delivered
and are therefore guaranteed to be sealed and functioning when shipped
from the factory.

Sea&Sea nor ADITECH will not be liable for any
loss, damages, or expenses including incidental or consequential damages
directly or indirectly arising from the sale or use of the product.

Sea&Sea accepts no liability for any loss of captured images or the
inability to capture images even if it is due to the malfunctioning or
leakage of the housing.

All paint finishing, cosmetic
discoloration of surfaces, powder coating, or material stitching that is
chipped, damaged, or unthreaded through customer use is not covered in
the warranty.

Sea&Sea does not warranty any product
for aesthetic finishes. Issues with surface finish that do not affect
function of the product are not covered under warranty.

This warranty does not apply and may
be rendered completely void in the event of accidental damage, abuse, batteries´ electrolyte spillage,
overcharging of battery, flooding due to neglect, tampering, lack of
care and maintenance, improper storage, or unauthorized service.

This warranty specifically excludes lenses, cords, connectors, O-rings, or other conditions
resulting from misuse and negligence.

This warranty becomes void if the housing components are damaged by anything other than normal recreational diving use.

Modifications or repair by anyone other than an
authorized Sea&Sea Dealer or ADITECH Service Department will void
the warranty.

By purchasing this product you agree
and understand that in no event will Sea&Sea, its distributors or
retailers, be held liable for any personal injuries resulting from its
operation, or any other damage whether direct, indirect, incidental or
consequential, even if Sea&Sea or ADITECH is advised of such damages.
