The Meikon MK-WX500 housing was specially created for the Sony WX500 digital camera. The Meikon MK-WX500 housing is
manufactured to the highest professional standards of function, style
and durability. It is depth rated to 40m/130 feet and is fully
functional with ergonomically designed and labeled controls. With this special design case, every key of
inside Sony WX500 can be pressed to control freely as you want.
The Meikon MK-WX500 housing is ideal for outdoor and
underwater
photography. Underwater photographers can dive or snorkel and capture
all the excitement of this fascinating world, while outdoor
photographers also have the option of capturing the action of activities
such as white water paddle sports, sailing, boating, surfing, fishing,
hunting, backpacking and camping.
The Meikon MK-WX500 housing is shock
resistant and protects the camera from water, sand, dust, frost and
other damaging elements. The Meikon MK-WX500 Housing was designed to
be compatible with a complete accessory system, enabling photographers
to enhance the quality of their images.

The MK-WX500 is offered as standard equipment with a leak detector that will
immediately activate a loud buzzer and a LED located at the rear of the
housing in the event water should find its way past the o-ring seals,
the water detector is located next to O-ring sealing and at the lowest
point (in usual operating position) of the case
- A central three 1/4-20 tripod mount on the bottom of the housing is the
perfect attachment point for stabilizing trays and constant-on lighting

Flash Connectors for Inon S-TTL
Reliable automatic flash exposure is available with
the MK-WX500 and a variety of optically fired flashes. The Inon Z-240,
D-2000, S-2000, and Sea & Sea YS-D1 strobes provide automated
lighting, precisely reproducing the camera’s onboard flash at a
proportionally greater intensity. This system yields accurate automatic
TTL flash performance – even in manual mode - with no electrical sync
cables to flood! The MK-WX500 comes fiber optic ready and accepts
standard Sea & Sea style bushing connections. Mangrove Fiber Optic
cables, available for both Inon and Sea & Sea strobes, provide the
best light transmission and therefore more accurate TTL of any fiber
optic cable on the market. Strobes can be attached to the housing via
optional strobe mounting balls secured to the handles of the Meikon
accessory tray systems or a single strobe mounting ball location on the
housing. The housing also features a cold-shoe mount for a focus light
or other accessory mounting options
Lighting
If you're diving below about 60ft/18m or at night, we recommend
adding a light to help your camera focus and boost the colors in your
photos and video. In underwater lighting, brighter is better. Look for a
light with a high lumens rating and a very wide, even beam.

Warranty
Meikon provides a limited warranty to the original
purchaser against all defects in original workmanship and material
under normal SCUBA use and service as outlined in the owner's manual
for 1 year from the date of purchase, with the following exceptions and conditions:
- Should your housing prove to be defective for any reason
(other than those listed in the limitations section below) it will be
repaired or replaced at Advanced Diving Technologies´ discretion, free
of charge, excluding shipping and handling charges.
- Repairs made under this warranty will not extend the warranty period
- This warranty is non-transferable and applies to the original purchaser only.
- All correspondence concerning this warranty must be accompanied by a copy of the original sales receipt.
- Any flood or damage, for any reason, that is caused from
flooding an O-ring sealed or water tight area will not be covered under
warranty. All O-ring sealed products undergo extensive factory pressure
testing before being shipped and delivered and are therefore guaranteed
to be sealed and functioning when shipped from the factory.
- Meikon/ADITECH will not be liable for any loss, damages, or expenses
including incidental or consequential damages directly or indirectly
arising from the sale or use of the product.
- Meikon/ADITECH accepts no liability for any loss of captured images or the
inability to capture images even if it is due to the malfunctioning or
leakage of the housing.
- All paint finishing, cosmetic discoloration of surfaces, powder
coating, or material stitching that is chipped, damaged, or unthreaded
through customer use is not covered in the warranty.
- Meikon/ADITECH does not warranty any product for aesthetic finishes.
Issues with surface finish that do not affect function of the product
are not covered under warranty.
- This warranty does not apply and may be rendered completely void
in the event of accidental damage, abuse, overcharging of battery,
flooding due to neglect, tampering, lack of care and maintenance,
improper storage, or unauthorized service.
- This warranty specifically excludes bulbs, lenses, cords, wet
connectors, O-rings, fuses or other conditions resulting from misuse and
negligence.
- This warranty becomes void if the Video Housing components are damaged by anything other than normal recreational diving use.
- Modifications or repair by anyone other than an authorized Meikon Dealer or ADITECH Service Department will void the warranty.
- Each
product is carefully examined and checked before it is shipped. It should
therefore be visually and operationally checked as soon as it is received. If
it is damaged in anyway, a claim should be filed with the courier and
ADITECH notified of the damage.
- By purchasing this product you agree and understand that in no
event will Meikon/ADITECH, its distributors or retailers, be held liable for
any personal injuries resulting from its operation, or any other damage
whether direct, indirect, incidental or consequential, even if ADITECH
is advised of such damages.
NOTE: If the equipment is not covered by warranty, or if it is determined that the fault is
caused by misuse, repair will be billed to the customer, and an estimate
submitted for customer approval before the commencement of repairs
