New MANGROVE housing for SONY FX1000
Aditech has lunched the new Mangrove housing MVD-FX1000 for the Sony HDR-FX1000. The housing’s front case is constructed from marine grade aluminum, machined, hard anodized and the rear case is machined from solid Delrin, it features a state of the art hybrid control system (LANC/Mechanical) that allows to access the majority of the camcorder functions, the external controls on the housing are linked by 14 electromagnetic pushbuttons, 4 mechanical controls and 2 geared motors to corresponding controls on the camera inside the case. Rather than viewing the underwater world through a small viewfinder, the MVD-FX1000 housing has a High–Resolution TFT LCD monitor built into the back of the case that gives you a large 3.5” image; you see what the camera is recording, in full colour, while holding the housing at arm’s length. The housing comes with a 3.5" bayonet port system that accepts different Fathom optics.

New MANGROVE housing for SONY XR series

Aditech is pleased to announce the release of the new Mangrove MVD and MVHD housings compatible with the new SONY camcorders of the XR series, it features a state of the art LANC/IR hybrid control system that allows to access all the camcorder functions, the external controls on the housing are linked by 12 electromagnetic pushbuttons to corresponding controls on the camera inside the case. The Mangrove housing is small, light and designed for optimal grip operation. The maintenance-free electronic 12-key control makes operation even easier. Now, for the first time, it is possible to operate all camcorder functions (such as man. WB, aperture and shutter time, focus, zoom and many others) using the electronic touch screen control. This control set is much easier to use than the mechanical touch screen on competitors systems.

Now the Sony HDR-XR520 / HDR-XR500 camcorders offering outstanding picture quality, especially in lowlight mode, can fully prove their capabilities even under water. Perfect, brilliant video recordings in HDV DV quality both in the 16:9 and 4:3 formats, and high-definition photos of up to 12.2 megapixels are possible. 

 

RENEWAL PLAN

Conversion kit to Lithium-Ion-Mn for old Mangrove Compact C-4/C-4s torches. The original NiMH battery pack will be replaced by a state of the art Lithium-Ion-Mn 3200 mAh 14,8 V. The original charger has to be sent with the torch and will be replaced by a new one for compatible with Lithium-Ion. With the new batteries the torch is 270g lighter, the time of charge will be reduced to 3 hours and the power will increase due to a higher voltage.
